Created in Bormio in 1875, by the pharmacist GrancescoPeloni, taking the name from one of the mountains which dominate the Valtellina valley in what is now the Stelvio National Park. The Recipe is a unique and secret blend of herbs and aromatic plants; the formula has been handed down generation by generation.
