This Ice Wine of classic Cabernet Sauvignon turned to be a successful, yet completely unforeseen project for Vinaria din Vale winery. Late in November, due to financial difficulties, a few neighboring grape growers left the freezing weather struck their unharvested grapes. The winery offered to help in harvesting and pressing the frozen grapes and fermenting the nectar into a sweet wine – first ice wine ever made in the area.
