As of fall 2017, this is now available in the US. Macallan 18yo Fine Oak combines whiskies matured in sherry seasoned European oak, sherry seasoned American oak, and bourbon seasoned American oak. It boasts flavors of tropical fruit, citrus and even the slightest hint of peat.
